ITINERARY in brief
Day 1: A Flame of Africa Representative will collect from Durban International apt & transfer you to The Oyster Box Hotel
Day 2: After Breakfast a Flame of Africa Representative will transfer you to Rovos Rail for boarding – 10h00 The train departs Durban Station. after which is an excursion to the famous Ardmore Ceramics Gallery including an equestrian display and tea. Dinner is served as the train climbs the escarpment en route to Ladysmith
Day 3: Wake-up call for a choice of excursions: 1 – Game drive in Spionkop Reserve or 2 – Spionkop battlefields tour. Enjoy lunch on board. At 15h00 disembark at Elandslaagte for a game drive in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. Dinner is served in the dining car/s
Day 4: Breakfast is served at 07h00 in the dining car/s as the train continues northwest across the Highveld
Lunch is served in the dining car/s as the train traverses the gold-mining areas of Gauteng
Arrive at journey’s end at 16h00 Rovos Rail Station in Capital Park, Pretoria where a Flame of Africa representative will collect and transfer you to your hotel – Enjoy dinner this evening at The Centurion Lake Hotel
Day 5: A Flame of Africa Representative will collect you for your onward flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival you will be transferred to The Hide Safari Lodge.
Day 6: Day at leisure with a choice of game activities
Day 7: Day at leisure with a choice of game activities
Day 8: A Flame of Africa Representative will transfer you to The Victoria Falls Hotel – Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening
Day 9: A Flame of Africa Representative will collect you for your Tour of the Falls
Enjoy a Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River – Dinner at the hotel
Day 10: A Flame of Africa Representative will transfer you to Chobe Game Lodge, Chobe National Park
Day 11: Enjoy your choice of activities on offer, from a Game Cruise on the Chobe River to trekking by vehicle in The Chobe National Park
Day 12: Enjoy another day of activities or perhaps you simply wish to enjoy the African Sun at the pool with a good book
Day 13: Today we bid Botswana farewell as our tour comes to an end. After breakfast you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport.
